Dermoscopy

Dermoscopy involves the observation of the skin by microscopy of the skin's surface and in other words, it is called epiluminoscpy and epiluminescent. He examines the pigmented skin lesion. It is a non-invasive method which allows the in vivo evaluation of the colors and microstructures of the epidermis, the dermo-epidermal junction and the papillary dermis not visible to the naked eye. Dermatoscopy needs a very advanced magnifying lens as well as a powerful lighting system. . The use of this technique provides a valuable aid in the diagnosis of pigmented skin lesions. Due to the complexity involved, this methodology is reserved for experienced clinicians.
